Terms of Service

These terms are an agreement between you and Unreal Fendi (Pty) Ltd (“we”, “us”) covering the UF Companion mobile app, the UF Portal web application, and the account services that support UF Command (together, the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service you accept them. UF Command hardware itself is sold under its own purchase and warranty terms.

What the Service is — and is not

The Service is a record keeper: it displays history that your UF Command has recorded and records you enter yourself.

• It is not a live instrument. Values shown in the app are last-known history and may be incomplete, delayed or stale.
• It is not a safety system.Never rely on the app while driving. Your vehicle’s own gauges, warning lights and handbook always take precedence.
• It is not professional advice. Service reminders, tyre suggestions and similar features are informational aids, not a substitute for inspection and judgement by a qualified mechanic.

Your account

• Provide accurate information and keep your credentials secure; you are responsible for activity on your account.
• You must be at least 13 to hold an account, and hold a valid licence to use driving-related features.

Your content and records

• You keep ownership of the content you add (photos, posts, records). You grant us the licence needed to store, process and display it in order to operate the Service.
• You are responsible for the accuracy of records you enter and for having the right to share what you upload.
• Records that form part of a vehicle’s provenance may remain with the vehicle (in a form not linked to you) after you delete your account or transfer the vehicle.

Vehicle ownership, claims and transfers

The Service includes flows for claiming vehicles, disputing claims and transferring vehicles or devices. We act on the evidence available to us in good faith and may pause or reassign vehicle records while a dispute is resolved. Filing a claim you know to be false is a breach of these terms.

Acceptable use

• No unlawful, infringing, abusive or deceptive content or conduct, including in community spaces.
• No attempts to break, probe or overload the Service, or to access data that is not yours.
• No automated scraping or resale of the Service.

We may remove content or suspend accounts that breach these terms.

Intellectual property

The Service, including its software, design and branding, belongs to Unreal Fendi (Pty) Ltd and its licensors. These terms do not transfer any of it to you beyond the right to use the Service.

Ending the agreement

You can stop using the Service and delete your account at any time in the app. We may suspend or terminate accounts for breach, or wind down the Service with reasonable notice where practicable.

Disclaimers and liability

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the maximum extent permitted by law we disclaim warranties and are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of data, or loss arising from reliance on recorded vehicle data. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including rights you hold under the South African Consumer Protection Act or equivalent consumer law where you live.

General

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. If part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest remains in force. We may update these terms; material changes will be posted here with an updated effective date and flagged in the app. Questions: info@unrealfendi.com.
